Gia Jenkins is an eclectic menswear designer from the farmlands of West Wales. Specializing in men's tailoring while taking a light quirky approach to the traditional. Whilst, growing up Gia was heavily involved with textiles, weaving and knitting. This interest came from her mother, has she is a textile designer so these childhood influences from being brought up around creatively heavily influences her passion for design.

 

this she was selected to showcase her collection at Graduate Fashion week 2017 and was also nominated for Gala Show. Gia’s collection was inspired by a variation artist but focusing on taking distorted elements and turning them into energetic, colorful pieces within men’s tailoring with a mix and knit and fur, giving it a new twist on old fashioned before of, has recently described by Hilary Alexander. Gia was also fortunate enough to be featured in Draper’s magazine May 2017 issue.  In Summer 2017 Gia came back from Hannover, competing in the international competition Modepreis 2017 to showcase her Graduate collection, winning the best Menswear Award and Audience Award.
